I can SURF the LAKE!!!

 I can SURF the LAKE!!!

This is the closest to surfing and standing on a lake. Arrived yesterday (1 day earlier than expected, albeit went to neighbor's house, kind neighbors - and honest). Tested on today's wind, waves, and current - the strongest I've experienced so far on Lake Perris (a dozen times total, you decide if that's enough to evaluate lake conditions here). Anyway, for such a choppy lake day, I only fell once off the board and another time on my knees on the board. Padding is great, paddle floated when I fell off, ocean bag stayed in bungee cords (so did my flip flops), leash stayed in tact and performed its purpose, fins and shape work pretty good maneuvering considering such a strong current. I will say, I felt like I wasn't moving at times but it was the lake conditions - and nothing leaked, like I said, I stayed on board pretty much, and only thing I'd change = next time, I go wearing a life vest. Perhaps, for my heavier set family members and/or for a trip around the lake that doesn't allow me to feel every wave of the lake, perhaps I'll plan in 2021 to add another wider/heftier paddleboard to the mix. As a surfer, I absolutely loved the feel of riding the waves on a lake. I'd be less confident doing this on an ocean, until I can solidify my personal paddleboard skills. AWESOME buy for an AWESOME price. (less than Costco board, AWESOME accessories - shoulder strap is my absolute fave, and manual hand pump worked perfectly and fast, for not being an electric pump. So, yeah!
A great way to Stand-up Paddleboard

A great way to Stand-up Paddleboard

We bought this board for my 14 yo daughter who had tried the sport with friends last summer. The vast number of Inflatable SUP manufacturers was initially very daunting. We settled on DAMA based on their long time in the industry and the fact that they have been making these boards for many years. The Board comes with everything you need and some extras. The board itself, paddle, pump & waterproof bag are all high quality and have worked great. The carrying bag is well-sized for the board and all the contents. It's important features are all of good quality. The waste strap did not stay attached after one use, but this is not needed. The waterproof phone case is a nice extra, but the neck strap did not last for one use so would not recommend relying on this extra accessory. I would recommend getting a powered pump to make inflation easier and let you save your energy for boarding, though the hand pump does the job. My daughter (5'5, ~100 lbs) is able to carry the board whether packed or inflated using the well placed handles/straps. The cargo cords on the front are perfect for holding your food wear, waterproof bag or anything else you need to bring along. The size and shape of this board makes it very stable, but can still be maneuvered reasonably. My daughter loves this board and it seems like it will last her for a long time. I highly recommend this product to those taking up SUP-ing.
Great value, Great customer service!!

Great value, Great customer service!!

The paddle was a big draw for me because of the multi-function. I really like that. The pump is slow but dual action speeds it up. The most important thing I realized is having enough air in the pump. We both thought our pumps were broken but then I watched a short YouTube video and realized we just were not inflating our boards enough. These inflated board need a lot of air. But mine is much faster. When we were portaging with them mine was also easier to carry because of the slim design. It looks nice. And the bag accessories work very well. It is easy to transport and my daughter likes it. Customer service has been great as well my first board had a hole in it. I spent the time to make sure I had it fully inflated and put it back in the water just to find two very small punctures that looked like a tiny staple went into it. We tried the patch kit. But the location of the holes was so odd I took a video and sent it to Dama. The adhesive didn't come with the board and when I did purchase the right adhesive the punctures are in such a bad spot, the curve of the outer edge, that it was impossible to lay flat. My husband helped me but he still really struggled and ultimately I didn't have confidence in our patch job so I don't know if I will take it out on any longer trips again.Customer service was very helpful though. I had videos and pictures of the problem and they offered to replace it at no charge. That was impressive. I have been waiting for my replacement board for months. Customer service has sent me updates periodically without inquiry. I like that because it means they are taking accountability and have someone tracking this issue. Hope to have a new board by spring and be back on the water.
Great SUP Board at a great price!

Great SUP Board at a great price!

I just started paddle boarding again after a few years and this board is a great! It handled itself well in a rough river with a fair amount of boat traffic with ease. It is very maneuverable and fast enough to get where you want. It is a little smaller than some of the other boards I’ve used... I’m 5’10 and I suspect I am at the upper end for this board... but for one person it works very well. (Well, one person and a small dog will fit as well)There is still plenty of room for storage. The included accessories are quite handy, especially the straps. It comes with a hand pump, but do yourself a favor and buy an electric one. Save your energy for paddling. The whole board seems well made. I used to think that inflatables were not as good as solid boards, but this is one is an all around great board for a fraction of the cost of a solid board. I look forward to many more enjoyable paddling experiences on this board.

I was looking for a smaller board for my ten year old girl to try, as she is fairly petite. Went with this over the youth board because of the max weight limit difference. I didn’t want to buy something only she could use on the off chance she didn’t like it. This board can easily be used by an average sized adult as well as a smaller kid.Her and I spent almost three hours on the board yesterday. She was able to maneuver and balance it without issue by herself, and it supported the two of us on it together without a problem.Today we took it out with the dogs, and it held up just fine to our pups jumping on and off. The kid was able to control it with our yellow lab on the front on her first try.All in all it seems like a pretty solid little board. My daughter absolutely LOVES it.
Portable and easy to inflate/deflate/carry, now I’m envious of my kid’s board!

I bought the 9’6 inflatable paddleboard for my 13-year-old daughter (5ft, 110lbs). She is able to independently inflate it with the pump, deflate it, and carry it whether inflated or in the included backpack. Besides the fact that it is perfect for her, it is absolutely gorgeous with the faux wood grain and aqua color. It is winter and we haven’t taken it in the water yet but I can see from the thickness and the width that it will be fine for her. I like it so much that I have started to wonder if I should retire my hard board for an inflatable exactly like this. This is so light weight and easy to carry that I am truly considering getting myself one too.I’ll update once we get it out on the water, but I have been paddleboarding for years and can see no reason that this won’t be perfect for our needs.
Stylish; smaller size

First, the look of this stand up paddle board — I love the phauxny wood! My husband thinks it's fakey but I'm really drawn to the pseudo wooden surfboard look with that relaxed island feel contrasted with a fresh aqua color. My sons love it too, especially my teen who wears puka shells and plays ukulele. This board is a smaller SUP at 9'6" long and 30" wide but is well proportioned for stability and maneuverability. Likely I will be sharing this one with with my youngest son as soon as we get some sun on our lakes. He's a little 10 year old and I'm 5'2" and average build. The hull is rounded but is slightly more pointed than an average all-around style, but not as streamlined as a touring board. This pumps up quickly with the included pump (about 5 minutes). The PSI is easy to read and it's a no brainer as far as how much air to put in. The valve has a twist lock for easy pumping. There is also a locking pin under the valve cover for easy deflation. The smaller side bite fins underside are protected with styrofoam blocks. The main fin is removable from its slide-in fin box. It has a pin to hold it securely in place. The deck is even and the marine grade EVA foam has good density, and is cut in a slatted design for style and good grip. The vinyl is heavy duty and the welds are leak free. The bungee cord is durable; D-rings are strong and seem to be of a corrosion-resistant finish. The coiled ankle leash is good quality and swivels well at both ends.A repair kit is included with two patches. There is also a waterproof phone/valuables pouch. The paddle has a really nice contoured offset that looks efficient. The assembly is different to my other paddle that came with a different board, where there is a collar that needs pulling off the shaft to unlock the double pins that hold it in place. My other has a flip lock, similar in style that you might find on a camera tripod leg. In any event, it is secure and sturdy and makes for a good adjustable length paddle. The included bag is roomy and fits everything inside easily (paddle, pump, etc.). One package is all you'll need to stow or pack down to the bank. The shoulder straps are lightly padded and adjustable; there is a pocket on one side. There are also cinch straps on each side to compress your load for easy carrying, or to secure your disassembled paddle to your pack while it supported by the pocket at the base.I really love this board in style and size. Dig the wooden vibe and the DAMA brand name, and can't wait to try some SUP yoga on this as soon as the weather heats up.
Perfect for beginners

Perfect for beginners

I wanted to try paddleboarding and this one had the best reviews on Amazon. It got to me relatively quickly, I ordered it at the beginning of things shutting down for covid so I knew to expect a longer wait time. It comes with a double action pump, a hose that detaches, a repair kit, a waterproof phone case, 2 arm floaties, paddle, board and big detachable middle fin and a backpack that it all fits in. I took my daughter out with me on my first go so she could hop off and swim when we got out away from shore. So I know it holds a 170 pound me and a 100 pound preteen without sinking! By far the best investment in myself I've made in a long time!
